Roundtable & Exposition in ECCM16 The ECCM16 – 16th European Conference on Composite Materials will host a Roundtable on Tuesday, June 24th at 16:50, at the Auditorium of the School of Engineering of the University of Seville, located in front of the Barceló Hotel.
The topic of the Roundtable, “Composite Materials: The Future”, aims to encourage the interaction between industry and academia by identifying the needs and challenges faced by industry and which must be addressed by the research workers in Universities and Research Institutes, stimulating and supporting innovation on composite materials.

The roundtable which will be chaired by John Morton (Imperial College), will have the participation of Christophe Aufrère (Faurecia), Rafael Ávila (Airbus) Thomas Tsotsis (Boeing) and Carlo Paulotto (Acciona).

The attendants of the conference have the possibility of asking electronically the participants questions until Monday morning (June 23rd) through the following email address:

There will be a period of 30 minutes during the roundtable for answering these questions.

The attendants of the roundtable will also have the possibility of asking questions in-situ.

The Roundtable will take place in the auditorium of the Engineering School where the exposition “Composites in Aerospace Structures: Developments in Spain by Airbus Group” will also take place. The aim of the exposition is to show a range of composites components designed and manufactured in Spain. The Exposition will highlight the role of Spanish engineering in the development of composites for aerospace industry.
